I totally agree with Scotty Kilmer. A 2.5‑litre turbo V6 over a naturally aspirated V8? No contest—I’ll take the V8 every time.
Modern engines are overcomplicated, stuffed with emissions tech that clogs up over time. Catalytic converters capture exhaust gases, but once they clog, carbon has nowhere to go, building up inside the engine and eventually causing failure.
Bottom line: stay away from a Ford Bronco with a 2.5‑litre “Scotch” engine, just like Scotty says.
