Starting July 2026, the BMW M2 will gain an optional M Performance Track Kit designed specifically for track-day enthusiasts, while the BMW M2 CS receives an upgraded M Performance exhaust system to enhance sound and appearance.

The Track Kit focuses on improving on-track performance while remaining road-legal. It adds aerodynamic components such as a manually adjustable front splitter integrated with a diffuser, wheel arch diffusers, and a swan-neck rear wing derived from BMW’s customer racing cars.

The rear wing features a “Race Mode” that moves it rearward for greater aerodynamic efficiency, plus adjustable angle settings for different tracks. Together, these elements significantly increase downforce and grip.

Chassis upgrades include a threaded suspension with four-way adjustable damping, adjustable support bearings, and a motorsport-derived damper system approved for road use. Ride height can be lowered by up to 20 mm with infinite adjustment.

The Track Kit will cost €23,500 plus tax (excluding installation). For the BMW M2 CS, the new M Performance exhaust system is tailored to improve the sound and visual appeal of the 530 hp inline-six engine.

It offers multiple sound modes, uses lightweight carbon and titanium tailpipes, and reduces weight by about 8 kg compared with the standard system. Pricing starts at €8,343.50 plus tax (excluding installation).

Overall, the updates aim to give M2 drivers sharper track capability and a more dramatic motorsport character.
