The DENZA Z is a new all-electric supercar from BYD’s premium brand, DENZA, combining cutting-edge technology, exceptional performance, and luxury.

Built on the exclusive e3 Sports Car Platform, it features a triple-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering 1,604 PS and 1,240 Nm of torque, enabling the Coupe to accelerate from 0–62 mph in just 2.25 seconds.

Three production models—Coupe, Spider, and Racing—have been confirmed, alongside a Special Edition designed for Nürburgring lap-record attempts.

The Z showcases DENZA’s “Technology Drives Elegance” design philosophy, blending aerodynamic efficiency with striking styling.

Premium materials such as carbon fibre, suede, and metal finishes create a luxurious cabin equipped with an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.8-inch infotainment system with Google Built-in, Devialet premium audio, and heated, ventilated, and massage seats.

Performance is enhanced by advanced technologies including DiSus-M magnetorheological suspension, intelligent triple-motor torque vectoring, Vehicle Motion Control, and Cell-to-Body battery integration.

The Racing model adds track-focused aerodynamic upgrades and increased cooling, while the Special Edition exceeds 2,000 PS and accelerates from 0–62 mph in under 1.7 seconds.

A key innovation is BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and FLASH Charging technology, capable of charging from 10% to 70% in just five minutes and from 10% to 97% in nine minutes.

This breakthrough minimises charging downtime while maintaining high safety, durability, and performance, even in extreme temperatures. The DENZA Z also offers advanced driving modes, including Boost, Track and Drift, with extensive personalisation options and comprehensive safety features.

In the UK, the Coupe has a Recommended Retail Price of £142,900, the Spider starts from £159,900, and the Racing model is priced at £172,900.
