Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer has unveiled the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Automatic Chronograph x Gulf, a timepiece that draws on the enduring connection between motorsport and watchmaking.

Inspired by the visual language of racing, the watch features a layered dial designed for clarity and legibility. A blue running track surrounds the black opalin surface, while Gulf’s instantly recognisable blue and orange stripes sweep across the dial, paying homage to the iconic racing cars that made the colours famous.

The chronograph counters are integrated into the dial’s architecture, reinforcing the watch’s motorsport-inspired character. Skeletonised hour and minute hands add a technical touch while maintaining clear readability and allowing more of the dial to remain visible.

The racing theme continues with the tachymeter bezel, which features a forged carbon insert. Its naturally irregular texture means every watch has a subtly individual appearance.

Completing the design is a sandblasted Grade 2 titanium bracelet, combining durability with a lightweight, balanced feel on the wrist and a cohesive connection to the case.

Limited to just 1,000 pieces, the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Automatic Chronograph x Gulf brings an unmistakable motorsport identity to the Formula 1 collection, blending TAG Heuer’s racing heritage with Gulf’s legendary colours.
