Legendary British marque AC Cars, the oldest active carmaker in the UK, has unveiled the stunning AC Cobra GT Coupe. This is the first official production coupe to wear the Cobra badge. Built upon a comprehensively upgraded version of the existing AC Cobra GT Roadster platform, the new coupe channels the company’s rich racing heritage, drawing inspiration from past triumphs like the Monte Carlo Rally and Le Mans.
The AC Cobra GT Coupe seamlessly blends the iconic Cobra aesthetic with a sleek, modern coupe design. This represents a significant expansion for AC, offering a unique addition to the Cobra lineup. While retaining key design elements from the Roadster, the car also pays homage to the legendary 1964 AC A98 Le Mans racer.
Crafted at AC Cars’ UK facilities, the AC Cobra GT Coupe utilizes an evolved version of the company’s proven vehicle architecture. This includes a lightweight, high-performance aluminium chassis and an aerodynamically optimized carbon-fiber body.

Unleashing the Beast: The Clubsport Edition
To celebrate the launch, AC introduces the extreme Clubsport Edition, a limited-production run of just 99 units. Housing a ferocious 799bhp V8 engine, these track-focused machines are designed to push the boundaries of performance. Deliveries for the Clubsport Edition will commence in late 2025.
Following the Clubsport’s exclusivity, the regular production coupe offers two engine options: a naturally aspirated 450bhp V8 and a thrilling 720bhp supercharged variant.
With a starting price of £325,000 plus taxes, the AC Cobra GT Coupe promises an exhilarating driving experience. Reservations are now open for both the base model and the Clubsport Edition at ac.cars.
