Mat Watson Fittingly Sings Nessun Dorma In Italy During Monza Track Test
Video

Legal Disclaimer: Mat Watson has never sung, nor attempted to sing, Nessun Dorma, an aria from the final act of Italian composer Giacomo Puccini’s opera Turandot. Nor has Mat Watson ever performed Nessun Dorma at the Monza race circuit in Italy. We cannot verify whether Mat Watson can actually sing.

It’s important to note that the Daily Car Blog reserves the right to lampoon Carwow and Mat Watson… well, anytime we want. After all, we are media partners. No legal disclaimer is needed for the latter—we’ve got the receipts.

Anyway, Mat Watson is in Italy to try the new Manthey Racing 911 GT3 RS, powered by a modified 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six engine delivering 525 hp and 465 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and the car weighs just 1,450 kg.

Watson’s goal is to see if Manthey’s heavily revised aerodynamic and suspension package can make the adrenaline flow even faster.
