The Aston Martin DB4 needs no introduction—it is a classic, perhaps even a timeless grand tourer. As the years pass, it never seems to go out of style. Compared to the current lineup of Aston Martins, post-DB9 and V8 Vantage era, the DB4 still looks far more elegant.

If I had the money, I’d choose a fully restored and mechanically upgraded Aston Martin DB4 over a DB11. That said, a perfectly restored DB4 now sells for upwards of $700,000.

On the UK TV show Bangers & Cash, an abandoned, rusting Aston Martin DB4 was discovered—its glory days clearly long gone. For context, only farmers typically own barns in the UK; most households have garages. So the “barn find” headline was clearly just keyword clickbait.

Ultimately, restoring this abandoned DB4 is as much about the process as it is about the story.
