Suzuki has entered the electric vehicle market with the launch of the e Vitara, its first fully electric model, now on sale in the UK. Customer deliveries began in early October 2025, marking a major step in the brand’s transition toward electrification.
Built on Suzuki’s new HEARTECT-e platform, the e Vitara is available with a choice of 49kWh or 61kWh lithium iron-phosphate batteries and the option of ALLGRIP-e, a newly developed dual-motor electric four-wheel-drive system. Power output ranges from 106kW in the base model to 135kW in the range-topping ALLGRIP-e variant.
The e Vitara retains Suzuki’s familiar compact SUV silhouette but with a 2,700mm wheelbase, and standard 18- or 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside, Suzuki has adopted a “High Tech and Adventure” design theme, with a dual-screen layout, ambient lighting, and a mix of fabric and synthetic leather trims.

All models come well equipped, offering smartphone connectivity, keyless entry, reversing camera, parking sensors, and a heat pump as standard. Higher trims add heated seats and a steering wheel, a 360-degree camera, glass roof, and an Infinity audio system.
The e Vitara supports DC rapid charging from 10–80% in 45 minutes, or full AC charging in 5.5 to 9 hours, depending on the power supply. Suzuki claims its LFP battery packs are designed for safety and longevity, with built-in thermal management and overheat protection.

Suzuki has reduced prices by up to £3,750 and includes a free Ohme home charger for orders placed before 31 December 2025. Prices now start at £26,249 for the entry-level 49kWh Motion model. Financing is available from 2.9% APR, with payments from £299 per month.
