The new Mercedes-Benz CLA hybrid is now available to order in the UK, with prices starting from £38,700. It comes in Sport, Sport Executive, AMG Line Executive, AMG Line Premium, and AMG Line Premium Plus trims.

The CLA hybrid is offered in CLA 180, CLA 200, and CLA 220 4MATIC (all-wheel drive) variants, powered by a new 1.5-litre turbocharged inline-four petrol engine (M 252) paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission (8F-eDCT).

An integrated electric motor adds up to 22 kW and 200 Nm, supported by a 48-volt, 1.3 kWh lithium-ion battery. The car can run on electric power alone at low speeds and recovers up to 25 kW through regenerative braking.

Visually, the hybrid resembles the electric CLA, distinguished mainly by its chrome Mercedes-Benz patterned grille with an illuminated LED strip.

Inside, it features MB.OS and 4th-generation MBUX with AI integration and over-the-air updates. All models have a 14-inch central display, with MBUX Superscreen (dual 14” displays) standard from AMG Line Premium upwards.

Deliveries of the new CLA hybrid will begin in Q1 2026.
