China is the largest car market in the world and is home to some of the most sophisticated car manufacturers and EV technology globally. Chinese car companies have become the benchmark for EVs; however, legacy automakers still hold their ground.
The Ford Bronco is offered in China to cater to market demand, and according to YouTuber Telescope, it still outperforms Chinese competitors in traditional areas. The YouTuber noted that the Bronco’s ergonomics were better than those of some Chinese rivals.
Telescope also highlighted that the Bronco’s efficiency was impressive—indeed, he called it a revelation. However, as a PHEV range extender, the Bronco still lags significantly behind its Chinese competitors.
