Toyota GAZOO Racing has revealed the GR Yaris MORIZO RR, a special-edition model developed with Toyota Chairman and Master Driver Akio Toyoda—also known as Morizo—and unveiled its prototype at Tokyo Auto Salon 2026.
Drawing directly from lessons learned during the 2025 Nürburgring 24 Hours, the MORIZO RR features a Nürburgring-tuned suspension, a carbon-fibre rear wing, and an exclusive 4WD “MORIZO” mode that delivers a 50:50 front-to-rear torque split.

Equipped with the GAZOO Racing Direct Automatic Transmission, the GR Yaris MORIZO RR emphasizes driver–vehicle connection, reliability, and everyday usability alongside high-performance capability.

The car wears a unique “Gravel Khaki” exterior, with matte bronze wheels, piano black accents, and Morizo’s signature yellow highlights on the brake calipers and interior stitching.

Inside, motorsport-inspired details include a suede steering wheel with a reduced diameter, revised paddle shifters, and steering-wheel-mounted switches informed by the GR Yaris Rally2.
Limited to 100 units in Japan from spring 2026—distributed via a purchase lottery—and a further 100 units for select European markets, the GR Yaris MORIZO RR represents Toyota’s most focused, Nürburgring-honed interpretation of its hot hatch to date.
