Mat Watson and the Carwow crew are in Dubai to put the Ferrari SF90 XX to the test against the all-electric Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.
The Xiaomi packs three electric motors producing 1,548 hp and 1,770 Nm, sent to all four wheels, but weighs 2,360 kg and costs just £56,000 in China.
The Ferrari SF90 XX, by contrast, combines a 4‑litre twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors for a total of 1,030 hp, weighs 1,660 kg, and carries a £670,000 price tag.
The showdown explores whether the Ferrari’s hybrid powertrain and lighter weight can overcome the Xiaomi’s staggering electric output.
