BMW has released official images of the China-made iX3 Long Wheelbase, ahead of its global debut at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show. Tailored for the Chinese market, the SUV is set to launch in the first half of 2026.

Its wheelbase has been extended to 3,005 mm, providing additional rear legroom, and it will be offered in nine exterior colors.

Inside, the cabin adopts BMW’s latest design language, featuring a panoramic sunroof and a cutting-edge AI infotainment system developed with Alibaba, integrating DeepSeek’s AI and supporting HarmonyOS and Huawei HiCar.

The SUV also includes Momenta’s full-scene navigation-assisted driving, tailored to both urban and highway environments.

The iX3 Long Wheelbase is powered by BMW’s sixth-generation eDrive on an 800V architecture, with a 108 kWh battery and dual electric motors delivering 345 kW (463 hp) and 645 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0–60 mph in 4.9 seconds.

It offers a real world range of 390 miles a and fast-charging capability that restores 265 miles of range in 10 minutes.
