Honda has announced the Prelude Limited Edition, a special version of its revived hybrid sports coupe that will arrive in Europe from autumn 2026 as a Model Year 2027 vehicle.
Following strong interest in Japan, the Limited Edition introduces a distinctive appearance centred around Premium Crystal Garnet Metallic, complemented by red accents on the bumpers, red Brembo brake calipers and 19-inch black cut-alloy wheels.

Inside, the Prelude receives a premium Bordeaux-themed cabin, with red contrast stitching across the steering wheel, dashboard, centre console, seats and door trim. Dedicated floor mats and an embroidered Prelude logo on the dashboard add further bespoke touches.
Underneath the cosmetic upgrades, the Limited Edition retains Honda’s e:HEV hybrid powertrain and Honda S+ Shift, which is designed to provide an engaging, responsive driving experience inspired by the effortless movement of a glider.

The Prelude nameplate first appeared almost 50 years ago and has long been associated with Honda’s sporting technology. The latest generation continues that tradition while combining coupe styling with modern hybrid technology.
Honda project leader Tomoyuki Yamagami describes the car’s character as being closer to a glider than a conventional sharp-edged sports car, emphasising smoothness and freedom.

The Limited Edition is intended to represent the most distinctive expression yet of the new Prelude, combining its sporting heritage with a more luxurious and individual finish.
