After 18 months and nearly 30,000km behind the wheel of his XPeng G6, Electric Viking is considering swapping to the Subaru Trailseeker.
Despite offering less power and slower claimed charging, the Subaru matches the G6’s all-wheel-drive performance model on price, with just AUD $190 separating them.
While the XPeng boasts a quicker 0–100km/h time and a headline 12-minute charging claim, achieving that charging speed requires infrastructure not currently available through Australia’s public charging network.
Having spent time testing both vehicles, Electric Viking believes real-world usability matters more than figures on paper, making the Trailseeker a compelling alternative for his next electric car.
