The Mercedes-Benz EQS is setting new benchmarks in electric vehicle technology, boasting a claimed WLTP driving range of up to 925km and the ability to add approximately 320km of range in just 10 minutes of charging.
The updated luxury electric saloon also introduces vehicle-to-grid (V2G) capability, optional steer-by-wire technology with rear-axle steering, and Mercedes-Benz’s new MB.OS operating system featuring AI-powered functions.
More than a quarter of the vehicle’s components have reportedly been newly developed or reworked as part of the extensive update.
Could this make the Mercedes-Benz EQS the most advanced electric vehicle on Earth? While that remains a subjective claim rather than a verified industry ranking, the latest upgrades demonstrate Mercedes-Benz’s ambition to push the boundaries of electric mobility.
The new Mercedes-Benz GLC EV is another strong contender, offering up to 644km of WLTP range and charging capability of up to 330kW.
