This is the Ferrari F12TDF it is perhaps the last naturally aspirated V12 you will ever see from Ferrari and in many ways the F12TDF is the last model derivative of the F12. Only 799 models will be produced each costing upto £340k. The F12TDF’s 6.3-litre V12 produces up to 769bhp at 8500rpm (an increase from 730bhp) and 705Nm of torque at 6750rpm. That gives that F12TDF a 0-62mph time of 2.9 seconds and a topspeed of 211mph.
The F12TDF has lost around 110kg of weight and now tips the scales just over 1,400kg. A new four-wheel steering system is designed to work with the so called Virtual Long Wheel Base meaning the F12TDF is more inclined to oversteer at the drivers behest.
However why is there music playing over the sound of the V12, we know incidental music is meant to add drama to the story, a kind of narration if you will, but we just want to hear that naturally aspirated front-mounted V12 for perhaps the last time. Because we never will.
We do criticise a lot here at DCB Towers so we will end it right there. Why did Ferrari call it the F12TDF,? it sounds like one of VW’s stock diesel engines… oh right the criticisms.
