Hyundai Do Something Interesting With The New i20
Auto News
Ok so Hyundai have revealed three new product updates, the i30 and i40 Saloon and Tourer get an exterior design refresh, new light clusters and bumper designs that kind of thing. Hyundai-i30 The i30 is Hyundai’s answer to the Golf and Astra, if truth be told it has a better quality interior than both which wasn’t the case about five years ago. Then people laughed at Hyundai owners. Haters always hate. The i30 will also come equipped with a new 7 speed dual-clutch transmission and revised engines. The 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder engine is turbocharged courtesy of toughened up emissions regulations that now prefer the less polluting nature of a turbo-charger. The turbo equipped i30 will also get 18-inch alloys, sports suspension and a more direct steering calibration. That means more fun for drivers because the engine will produce 185bhp, 0-62 mph in 8 seconds? no problem for the i30. The new i40 Saloon and Tourer receive a blink and you will miss it and rather tame refreshed design. It gets that seven speed transmission, rear damping, speed limit identification, lane assist and touchscreen interface. But it is the i20 that stole the show. Hyundai-i40 The i20 is a completely new design and it doesn’t look too bad, the 3 door hatch goes up against the VW Polo, Ford Fiesta and Vauxhall Corsa. The new design direction is hopeful of attracting a more youthful market than the Granny in the carpet slippers design of the previous generation. Hyundai-i20-Interior It looks pretty nifty for a Hyundai. If you must know boot space is, well its decent. But you may be more interested in the options such as an orange exterior and interior, see we told you the i20 was the most interesting one out of the three. Hyundai-i20-Rear The i20 will come with a range of petrol and diesel engines with power ratings ranging from 83-98bhp. The new 1.4-litre engine joins the line up and from 2015 a 1.0 -litre, thee cylinder turbo engine will join the ranks a little later. Hyundai have not revealed the pricing, they like all manufactures want to extend the publicity drive just that little bit extra.    Hyundai-i20
