From an outsiders perspective the Lotus Evora 400 looks like a model variant as opposed to being entirely new from the ground up.
The extensive reworking/re-modeling of the front and rear bumper indeed does confirm at a heavily revised model. Visually the Evora looks more or less the same. We reckon that the Evora design still looks fresh as a daisy.
However the Evora 400 has undergone extensive re-engineering and technical upgrades to make it the fastest most powerful production Lotus yet made.
The performance stats read 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 186mph from the 3.5-litre V6 400bhp and 410Nm supercharged engine. Thats 10bhp more than the Evora S.
Lotus have managed to reduce the weight by nearly 50kg by developing a new aluminium chassis.
The interior has also been reworked, the Evora 400 will begin its production run from this summer with first deliveries expected by August.
Americans will have to wait until 2016. Pricing will be confirmed in due course. The Evora, remains one of the most underrated supercars you can buy, to be honest we here at DCB Towers would have this over a 911.
