The BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R Is Nothing But A Tribute Band
Worst Car of the Week
Consider this, what if the Eiffel Tower was a concept that remained just that, a concept. What if the Statue of Liberty was a concept that never got built. What if the Bermuda Triangle was just a concept. If everything in the world remained a concept we would never get to where we aspire to be. What if the invention of fire remained a concept in the mind of the genius who discovered how to make fire? The Eiffel Tower is Real. The Statue of Liberty is real. The Bermuda Triangle is… explainable and the the genius who discovered fire is the greatest inventor that has ever lived. But we’ll never know who he is. And that’s the trouble with brilliant car concepts like this BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R. The Eiffel Tower was built, so was the Statue of Liberty each were a product of their time, fire is universal and the Bermuda Triangle is a complete mystery. Well it is. Isn’t it? The BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R is a celebration of BMW’s racing sucess of the 1970’s, 40 years have past since the original 3.0CSL lit up the tarmac and dominated the European Touring Car Championship. Bravo 3.0CSL , bravo. What the BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R is, is like one of those Beatles tribute bands, and like these tribute bands they may well play the same notes and strut the same cords but they’ll always be a tribute band. And that is what the Hommage R is. BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R, you are a tribute band that could have made it for real, you should be ashamed of yourself in a Monastic way and as such we deem you to be the worst car of the week.  dailycarblog-BMW-CSL-Hommage-R
