His name is Oliver Amon, we believe he is Hungarian quite possibly Polish but it doesn’t matter from where he hails. Oliver is is an exponent of the Gymkhana a type of timed motorsport event developed from autocross which is actually derived from the equestrian discipline of gymkhana.

So the whole point of Gymkhana is to memorise a track and to achieve the fastest time overall.  The motorsport version usually features obstacles such as cones, tires, and barrels.

The driver must maneuver through a predetermined “track” performing many different driving techniques.

We’re sure you’re getting the whole point of Gymkhana by now.

Amon regularly competes in such events and in this YouTube uploads what we believe are practice runs. At the same time he showcases his skills in a Suzuki Swift vs a Fiat Uno both of 1980’s vintage. In a scrap yard of all places.

You have to admit Amon seems quite accomplished behind the wheel.
