The more we look at the DB11 the more we become unsure as to whether it can carry the torch that burned so brightly during the DB9 era. Whether Aston Martin has got the DB11’s styling right or wrong is down to your personal opinion.

Collectively we here at DCB Towers agree that 90 percent of the DB11 continues the tradition of Aston Martin greatness.

But it’s the rear end styling that unsettles what would have been a fab looking supercar.

We understand that Aston Martin wanted to incorporate clever aerodynamic solutions and we do think the Virtual Wing is a brilliant idea.

However as William Makepeace Thackeray once said “style is never out of fashion”. And we reckon Aston should have kept the technical solutions for their high end performance cars.

Thackeray also said “Next to excellence, comes the appreciation of it”. And we appreciate the DB11 enough to actually want to buy one despite not liking it 100 percent.
