It wasn’t meant to be this way but it is. No we are not talking about Brexit. We are talking about the all new Porsche Panamera which has been leaked online. It used to be the case that before the internet era the cycle of leaks would be very rare indeed and often sold to the highest bidder which back in the day was usually to a publisher and the format to carry this story to the masses was ink and paper.  Those days are well and truly over as it seems getting an exclusive, leak-driven story isn’t as exclusive as it once was. We now have Twitter, Facebook forums etc. As it turns out the all new Panamera was leaked on a Chinese website, and it’s given us an early insight into how Porsche have evolved the Panamera design into something visually more pleasing. The Panamera was due to be officially revealed at this years Paris Motorshow in October. The Panamera is expected to get the latest generation of V6 and V8 twin turbo charged petrol engines. Auto manufactures are switching from naturally aspirated petrol engines to twin-turbos because they are more efficient and pollute less. Which is a bonus because they offer far more power and torque. Porsche is also expected to reveal a revised version of the Hybrid Panamera which will borrow it’s technology from VW hybrid stock. Porsche has reportedly spent time on reducing the Panamera’s weight and chatter suggests that the entry level V6- twin turbo Panamera will cost around £63 GBP.
