Power is divided to all four wheels through a dual clutch seven speed auto gearbox. Performance figures read 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds with a 217mph top speed.
Lamborghini have also updated the steering geometry meaning you now get four-wheel-steering for quicker turn-in input and better low to mid speed change of direction and cornering stability.
The suspension is also updated with all new real-time variable damping and rear springs that act as back up singers to the 4-wheel-steering system.
A new exhaust is 20 percent lighter and re-calibrated driving modes includes a revised software map of the electronic stability control system and launch control.
Probably the most useless update is the introduction of Apple CarPlay and a new TFT infotainment screen which includes telemetry data such as lap times. OK the latter sounds useful.
But seriously if you going to own an Aventador S are really going to say “oh I must remember to connect my iPhone” You only do that in lesser cars… like a Renault.
Cars like the Aventador S do not require Apple CarPlay or even a infotainment system with 3,000 watt speakers. The music is the naturally aspirated V12 the real connectivity is driving it.
Anyway if you live in the UK the Aventador S will cost you £225,995 GBP, customer deliveries will commence from next spring 2017.
