It’s been a year to remember and a year to forget for Mitsubishi, they could have gone out of business over some, let’s just say… complex issues… however, they were welcomed into the warm embrace of the Nessan-Renault empire, or as it’s commonly referred to… rescued. Mitsubishi has developed some useful hybrid technology, assets that appealed to CEO, Carlos Ghosn. Now it’s time for Mitsubishi to look forward and their latest e-Evolution Concept is doing the rounds or a round at the forthcoming 2017 Tokyo Motorshow. The e-Evolution Concept, by Mitsubishi, is a pure electric crossover suv. Not much in the way of spec has been revealed just yet. We do know that it will use high-performance electric motors, fed by a high capacity battery system and will also incorporate a 4WD system and a AI technology. In other words, the Mitsubishi-e-Evolution-Concept will be a high performance Tesla beater. But will the Mitsubishi e-Evolution Concept ever see the light of day? No not in it’s concept guise, not ever perhaps, but elements of the concept will filter down into future product offerings.
