Progressive Hydraulic Cushions (PHC) system adds two hydraulic stops on each suspension unit to replace the mechanical stops and can even assist to dampen the effects of a traffic collision should such an unfortunate event ever occur.
Citroen has made the new C4 Cactus become customisable with a total of 31* exterior combinations. The palette of nine body colours highlights include Polar White, Obsidian Black, Platinum Grey and Cumulus Grey, Red, Tapenade Grey, Emerald Blue, Pearl White, Deep Purple).
For even more personalisation, customers can choose from a selection of five* alloy wheels: Grey 16-inch SQUARE and Black 16-inch SQUARE wheels, for their purity and elegance, as well as Black 17-inch CROSS, Two-Tone Black/Alloy 17-inch CROSS and Two-Tone White/Alloy 17-inch CROSS wheels – the last two are diamond-cut for a truly high-end look.
At launch, the C4 Cactus will be powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder, 128bhp petrol eng which will be followed by a less powerful 80bhp derivative and a 1.6-litre diesel, scheduled for summer 2018.
Citroen has yet to confirm prices but they should be slightly more expensive then the current generation C4 Cactus, rumors have it at around £16k
