In America, the undisputed land of the free, minorities and Anglo Saxons alike share in the democratic values bestowed upon its people by the founding fathers. Or that’s how we perceive America to be, in reality, 21st century America is under the control of a corporate oligarchy its institutions corrupted by corruptible politicians. And America is also home to… donuts.

The United States, the richest country the world has ever known is said to be under the control of the one-tenth of 1% super-rich Americans who have accumulated as much wealth as the bottom 90%. These super elites also like donuts. In reality, he richest country the world has ever known is home to people who do not have access to clean drinking water, where 23 million Americans don’t even have access to health care, decent housing or education, a crumbling infrastructure and the rise of neo-nazis. In America African Americans and minorities are seen to be unfairly targeted by the Police, some say brutalised, guilty of a crime before any evidence is provided. So when we saw a bunch of minorities, who should be called Americans, closing off the entry point onto the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco to donut their troubles away we thought they were going to get shot without warning. That’s what Police do in America, shoot African Americans and Latinos. For once the only deadly force the San Francisco Police used was reading of rights and handcuffs. The stunt, most probably instinctive in preparation, cost the drivers much more than a hefty fine. Their cars were impounded and they were charged with multiple traffic violations. Why did the do this? most probably to get more likes on Facebook, fame, notoriety, fame and just plain old… fame.
