Sophia Florsch Totally Wipes Out of The Macau Grand Prix
Video

This is what the motoring world is talking about right now. Sophia Florsch. The 17-year old German was competing at the prestigious end of season Macau F3 Grand Prix. A Grand Prix that is often seen as a driver talent market for future F1 stars.

Unfortunately for Sophia Florsch she was quite literally flying towards the stars as she spectacularly crashed out of the race. Racing for team Van Amersfoort Racing, Florsch lost control of her F3 car at a reputed 171mph. It isn’t clear how she lost control, but the car is seen flying backward in the air and smashing into photographers stand. However, the tweet below gives a brief insight into how Sophia Florsch lost control. https://twitter.com/Jerrycheong/status/1064207428005347328 And just for good measure, Sophia Florsch manages to wipe out a fellow competitor Sho Tsuboi. Miraculously Florsch survived, but not unscathed. Tweeting later from hospital Florsch said she would be in surgery to fix a fractured spine. A small price to pay for a potentially fatal crash. However, fellow competitor, Sho Tsuboi, was also taken to hospital complaining of back pain. Two photographers and a track marshall were also taken to hospital with serious but non-life threating injuries.
