YouTube is the new TV. You know what, I own a Sony Ultra HD, 4K HDR TV. The problem is that digital TV stations do not offer 4K content, many digital TV stations are offered in below HD quality, below 720p. That’s why I am now watching more and more content on YouTube via my smart TV as opposed watching low-def TV.

One of our favorite YouTube channels is run by tech-nerd MKBHD. The channel has now amassed 7.7m subscribers. In the old days of TV-land executives would not give a black kid the opportunity to front his own tech show.

It just wouldn’t happen because the old TV industry (and it is old now) is/was inherently racist. The internet is different.

The maxims and whims of a ‘powerful’ TV executive swinging and waving the Sword of Damocles in front of a hopeful presenter are becoming vanquished thanks to the likes of MKBHD.

If you have the content and personality YouTube will like you. The color of your skin doesn’t play into the decision.

Now, MKBHD might disagree with this theory, but he doesn’t read this blog, so we will never get a response.

But anyway, successful YouTuber MKBHD moves from being a tech-nerd to car-geek tech-nerd. This time he is reviewing the McLaren 720S.
