Skoda Kamiq The Next Generation Sub Compact SUV
Auto News

These sketches provide the first glimpse of the new Skoda Kamiq. The Czech carmaker showcases a new design language of the forthcoming mini SUV. The front is defined by a wide, upright radiator grille, which comes with double slats. Sculpted lines of the bonnet are a
typical feature for Skoda’s current design language.

A highlight at the front is the new two-part LED headlamp design – a first for Skoda – with the daytime running light strips positioned above the main headlights.

In addition, the Kamiq is the first Skoda to have dynamic indicators at the front and rear.

Curiously Skoda already offers the Kamiq for sale in China. Designed and built in the country, it is exclusively sold in China only.

The European version will be based on the same platform that underscores the VW T-Roc and the Audi Q2.

Expect a familiar engine and model lineup using VW sourced engines and technology.

The world premiere of the new Skoda Kamiq takes place from 5 to 17 March 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show.
