Motorshows are not too dissimilar to an annular lunar eclipse. They happen once a year and can be experienced in locations from across the world. The Shanghai Motorshow lunar eclipse has come and gone and we review the main players. Well… actually, Carwow went to the expense of traveling to Shanghai, staying in a hotel, eating, sleeping and filming. And then editing.

It’s expensive to cover a Motorshow but Mat Watson and Carwow do it so we don’t have to. However, this is a chance to see how car manufacturers aim their products to the Chinese consumer.

The Chinese like their long-wheel-base cars. That’s the biggest difference between Chinese and say, European buyers. But consumerism whether it’s in a capitalist or socialist country, it’s all the same.
