Engineering Explained Geeks Out Over The Fastest Ever 2020 Corvette

We’re really excited about the new fastest ever 2020 Corvette and so it appears is Engineering Explained YouTube man. The 2020 Corvette is the most un-American of cars ever made. And we’re talking any car be it pick-up, sedan, supercar, nitro-powered supercar. Why? Because the 2020 Corvette is actually using the principles of detailed engineering to give European performance and handling with American pricing.

The latter (pricing) has us worried. Will the Corvette be a wobbly plastic mess or can this mid-engine supercar hold it’s own against the European royalty of supercars. The entry-level Porsche 911 Carrera 4S (992) retails for over $120,000. The entry-level mid-engine Corvette will start from $60,000 and has around 45hp more than the 911.

The base Corvette will be called Stingray and gets a 6.2-liter V8 (LT2) engine with 495 hp (369 kW) and 47-pound-feet of torque. Tires are 18 inches in front, 19 inches in back, with 35 series front tires and 30 series rear tires.

And you what? we even like the look of the Corvette. But hey we are merely downtrodden motoring hacks. We’ll probably never get behind the wheel of the Corvette. But one such person who will is Mr. Engineering explained YouTube man who geeks out over the new fastest ever 2020 Corvette with pure Maths.
