Lotus Evija Fittipaldi Edition Revealed
Auto News

Lotus is in a bit of a strange position right now, in that for once it has a bright future outlook. It has got an exciting range of new cars, possibly if not the best in its history. It has a stable financial footing meaning it can “fail and bail” knowing the house will not blow down. The stability is courtesy of Geely Motors, the Chinese auto conglomerate that acquired Lotus in 2017. Since then Geely has been busy transforming its toy, and the end result is the Eletre SUV, Lotus Emira and this… the all-electric, Bugatti-busting Lotus Evija ultracar. Production is limited to not more than 130 examples, eight of which will be allocated to mark a special occasion in Lotus’s Formula One history.

The Limited-edition Evija celebrates 50 years since race legend Emerson Fittipaldi and Team Lotus won F1 Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championship. The bespoke specification of the Lotus Evija Fittipaldi starts with its unique paint finish, which includes its designation written on the bodywork in gold lettering to the side of the rear window.
