Mat Watson is in America testing, on behalf of humanity, the all-new BMW 7 Series and electric i7 variant. For the G70 generation, BMW is transitioning from premium luxury to luxuriously appointed. Which is kind of like apes transitioning to humans all those evolutions ago. Can a BMW 7 Series ever offer ultra-luxury on par with Rolls Royce and or Bentley? While it is evidently luxurious, the new G70 will never match the ultra-luxury aura of a Rolls Royce or Bentley.

However, from what we can see in Mat Watson’s video, the new 7 series is getting closer… but… it is still some way off from entering the ultra-luxury club. A BMW will always be the lesser of two evils, the other evil being the Mercedes S Class.
