This is the Audi Activesphere Concept which, according to Autogefuhl, is Audi’s answer to the Tesla Cybertruck. The studio preview hints at future integrated technology and styling direction of the next-generation Audi electric vehicles. Audi isn’t renowned for its off-road capabilities, however, the Activesphere is billed as an electric off-roader.

Concept cars are often used to generate publicity, and to do so, the exterior and interior styling are ethereally presented to command attention. And in typical Audi fashion, the attention is concentrated and serious rather than flashy.

But it does look flashy, in a typically understated manner associated with the Audi design DNA. The Activesphere Concept will never be made, but certain ideas will filter down into the final production version.

The Activesphere is being developed in conjunction with Porsche, so what we are seeing is a future Porsche Cayenne EV. Don’t expect the electric Cayenne to look as stylish.
