Carwow’s Mat Watson Auditions For The Role of Spiderman During Pagania Utopia Review
Video

As usual, Mat Watson isn’t entirely focused as he mucks around during an overview and review of the Pagani Utopia. You get invited to Modena, Italy, to Pagani’s HQ to drive the €3,100,000 Utopia, and you end up posing like you’re auditioning for a Spider-Man sequel. Yep, that’s Mat Watson for you, folks.

Legal Disclaimer: Mat Watson isn’t auditioning for the role of Peter Parker in the next Spider-Man film. The opening paragraph is a complete fabrication, which, apparently, meets the standards of modern journalism.

In reality, Mat Watson is in Italy at the invitation of Pagani to try out its latest unbelievably expensive hypercar. With styling inspired by a 1990s concept roadster, the Utopia is powered by a 6.0-litre, 860bhp V12.

The most difficult thing to comprehend here is that all that immense power is being controlled by the driver manually, using nothing more than a stick shift. I guess skydiving is inherently safer than manually chasing gears in a Pagani Utopia.

Anyway, Mat Watson gets an exclusive invitation, which is much more than we’ll ever get because, apparently, we’re not in the loop.
