E For Electric Lambasts Fully Charged Show For Being Less Than Electric

E For Electric a renegade car reviewer and Youtuber, once regarded as a safe pair of hands by the automotive industry, recently exposed the Fully Charged Show as being nothing more than a mouthpiece for car manufacturers’ PR and marketing efforts. Hold on, what do I mean by a “safe pair of hands”.

Car manufacturers have discovered that utilizing car reviewers is an economical and effective approach to promoting their products to a wider audience. However, such car manufacturers rely on compliance and discretion.. no they expect complete compliance, after all, they pay good money to top influencers to be compliant.

E For Electric made a decision to deviate from the expected norms, breaking the rules and venturing out of the comfort zone, despite incurring significant financial costs. When the YouTuber became critical in the slightest, car manufacturers abandoned him, effectively banning him from car events and new car launches.

With his newfound freedom, E For Electric calls out some heavyweights in the electric car review space, and on his radar if the Fully Charged Show. The inference is that the Fully Charged Show provides little consumer value when reviewing electric cars. Additionally, it can be inferred that the Fully Charged Show has become a jolly good corporate mouthpiece.

The triple inference is that the Fully Charged Show is an advertising gold rush for car manufacturers to gaslight. Now we have to give some context here, in defence of the Fully Charged Show. It should be noted that E For Electric invested in buying a VW ID4 which didn’t live up to his expectations, and this experience caused him to go AWOL.

So is  E For Electric bitter over what he perceives to be a lack of interest from VW to fix the issues with his ID4? I don’t know, I am merely giving both sides of the argument, after all E For Electric was fully invested in the press launch culture. For example, we stopped attending new car launches years ago because we saw no real value in them.

And we could also see that car manufacturers were essentially buying influence by providing 5-star accommodation, travelling by private jet, receiving gifts and all-you-can-eat and drink. When you have been immersed in a certain culture for an extended period, disentangling yourself from it can prove to be quite a challenge.

Nonetheless, we found it to be a straightforward choice. Anyway, what do you think, is E For Electric correct or embittered at being banned. I don’t know anything about anything, I am just providing both sides of the argument.
