Auto News

On January 25th, 2024 Porsche will reveal fully electric Macan. The next iteration of the Macan will be built on a new advanced Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, boasting a large 100 kWh battery pack and delivering an impressive electric power of up to 603 hp (450 kW / 612 PS). Late last year Porsche revealed the all-new Macan EV interior, featuring a tri-screen layout composed of a 12.6-inch digital instrument binnicle and a 10,9-inch infotainment screen and a third passenger screen.

Debuting in 2014, the Macan stands as the second-best-selling Porsche model worldwide. The model with the highest number of deliveries was the Cayenne. In 2023 Porsche shipped 320,221 units globally across its model range.

Back to the Macan EV, comprehensive details are still pending an official release. For now, we’ll draw a parallel with the Porsche Taycan, which boasts a battery pack ranging from 79.2 kWh to 94 kWh, depending on the specific model specifications.

The Macan EV is expected to have a 100 kWh battery pack with a theoretical range of 320 miles. The Macan EV will have fast charging capability and it should also be fairly (EV) fast because power is rated at 603bhp (450 kW / 612 PS) and over 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque.
