A decade following its launch, the Porsche Macan is embarking on its second generation, now propelled into the realm of fully electric vehicles. The new Macan 4 and Macan Turbo are poised to make a permanent shift to electric powertrains. The current petrol-powered Macan will undergo a phased extinction, with sales concluding later this year for European customers. However, in China and America, sales will persist until 2026 before ceasing altogether.
The all-new Porsche Macan EV will be offered in two four-wheel-drive variants: the Macan 4 and the flagship performance Macan Turbo. The Macan 4 boasts 402bhp, while the Macan Turbo takes performance to the next level with a staggering 630bhp.

For everyday AC charging of up to 11 kW can be accomplished in approximately 12 hours from 10% to full using a dedicated domestic EV wallbox. The driving range according to lab results is up to 380 miles (613 km) for the Macan 4 and up to 360 miles (591 km) for the Macan Turbo.
The latest iteration of the Porsche Macan EV boasts wheels of up to 22 inches in diameter, and the wheelbase is longer by 86 mm compared to its predecessor (now measuring 2,893 mm). Distinctive design elements include headlights divided into two sections. Positioned slightly lower in the front section, the main headlight module offers optional Matrix LED technology.
The new Macan EV offers a standard rear luggage capacity of 540 liters. Additionally, the “frunk,” a second luggage compartment located under the hood, boasts a capacity of 84 liters. With the rear seat backrests folded down completely, the rear boot capacity expands to 1,348 liters.
The Macan EV comes equipped with a 12.6-inch curved self-supporting instrument cluster and a 10.9-inch central screen, and an optional 10.9-inch passenger screen. The infotainment system utilizes the Android Automotive OS as its operating system. Apple CarPlay is also available.
The Macan EV features rear-axle steering and shock absorbers equipped with dual-valve technology. Both the Macan 4 and the Macan Turbo are equipped with all-wheel drive. The Macan EV models equipped with air suspension, incorporate PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) system for precise electronic adjustment of shock absorbers.
