While it may appear as a work in progress, the Gordon Murray T50s XP1 Prototype is a ballistic track version of the T50. Conceived by the legendary McLaren F1 engineer, Gordon Murray, the T50 is focused on a lightweight design philosophy and is powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine.

The Costhworth developed V12 powerplant commands an impressive 663 PS (488 kW; 654 hp) at 11,500 rpm, accompanied by a peak torque of 467 N⋅m (344 lbf⋅ft) at 9,000 rpm. The T50s XP1 prototype is currently work in progress but will limited to just 20 examples and pushes the limits at over 750bhp.

In this video, Gordon Murray himself delves into the intricate engineering details that define the T50s XP1.
