Lotus has optimised the design layout of the 102 kWh battery pack in its vehicles so that 20% more cells can be packaged in the same space. Lotus claims that Emeya offers market-leading charging capabilities, boosting the range by up to 20%.

When using a 350kW DC fast-charger, Emeya can achieve a 10-80% charge within 18 minutes, with a maximum WLTP range of 610 km (379 miles). The luxury interior features a 15.1-inch HD OLED Lotus Hyper OS infotainment system, powered by Unreal Engine gaming tech.

Lotus has incorporated its motorsport heritage and industry-leading engineering capabilities throughout Emeya to bring drivers a refined and dynamic EV that is truly exciting to drive. The Emeya features a driver-focused suspension design available with all-wheel drive, advanced active roll control and rear-wheel steering.

The Emeya features advanced active aerodynamics such as an active air dam under the front bumper and an active rear spoiler. These increase downforce and therefore stability in the car when deployed and reduce drag when not deployed.

The flagship Emeya R has a power rating of 905 bhp, enabling the Emeya to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in under 2.8 seconds. The Emeya features up to five driving modes including Range, Tour, Sport, Individual and Track.

The power ratings for both the entry-level and mid-spec models have yet to be officially confirmed. However, initial indications strongly suggest that the entry-level model will boast a power output of around 600 bhp.

Drivers can control the ride height, air suspension stiffness, acceleration response, seat configuration (with adjustable side bolsters), and more to optimise efficiency, performance, and comfort in any environment.

An electronically controlled air suspension system with advanced onboard sensors responds to changes in road conditions and automatically adjusts the vehicle set-up. This ensures the smoothest ride and optimum driving experience for customers.
