The new Mercedes the CLE 53 AMG 4MATIC+ Cabriolet is the latest addition to its open-top performance lineup. This four-seater convertible is propelled by 450bhp/560Nm, 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder engine, and is capable of reaching 0-62 mph in 4.4 seconds before going on to reach limited top speed of 155mph.

Notably, the integrated starter generator provides an extra boost of 17 kW (23 hp) and 205 Nm of torque while fueling the 48-volt electrical system. The AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission is complimented by a fully variable all-wheel drive AMG Performance 4MATIC+, and active rear-axle steering as standard.

The AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension, developed for increased agility, offers more neutral cornering and improved traction. With its particularly sporty damper tuning and adaptive adjustable damping, the steel spring suspension combines excellent handling with improved ride comfort.

The damping characteristic can be selected in three stages – Comfort, Sport and Sport+ – to provide a noticeable difference between high long-distance comfort and sporty handling. The Pro Performance Package is the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package.

This includes RACE START and the RACE driving programme with drift mode. The AMG Performance steering wheel in carbon fibre/MICROCUT microfibre features steering wheel buttons for quick control of the driving programmes and other handling settings. Red brake callipers with AMG lettering front and rear underscore the car’s sporty character.
