We at DCB HQ are not heavily invested in the Mercedes range of electric cars because Mercedes has shown no real interest in their own EVs. Despite this, Mercedes is attempting to greenwash their image to appeal to an environmentalist demographic in which they have no genuine interest.
We can make this assertion because, in their own words, Mercedes is scaling back their electric car development. The Mercedes EQE exemplifies this lack of interest; it is a half-hearted attempt, as noted by EV early adopter MKBHD.
