Carwow’s Mat Watson Struggles To Count During BMW Mini Cooper Review
Video

The legal department insists we clarify that Carwow’s Mat Watson is not numerically deficient and can indeed count past ten without taking his shoes off. God bless the legal team, for taking away our freedom of speech. Anyway, Watty, as we now call Mr Mat Watson, is reviewing the new BMW Mini Cooper.

For starters, the electric BMW Mini Cooper is available exclusively as a three-door model, if you’re after a five-door version it’s only available with a petrol powertrain.

The electric BMW Mini comes in two variants: the entry-level Cooper E, equipped with a 37kWh battery, delivering 184hp and offering a range of up to 190 miles, and the Cooper SE, which boasts a 49kWh battery, 218hp, and a range of up to 250 miles.

The entry-level petrol model features a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder turbo engine with 156hp, while the more powerful option is a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo, packing 204hp. All BMW Minis are front-wheel drive and come with an automatic transmission.

The petrol-powered MINI starts at £23,000, while the electric version begins at around £30,000 topping off at £42,000 for top-spec trims.
