BYD has announced the launch of its latest model in Europe, the ATTO 2 DM-i. This compact SUV features Super Hybrid technology with DM (Dual Mode-intelligent), offering a combined range of up to 633 miles (1,020 km), combined with an electric motor.

The ATTO 2 DM-i can travel up to 55 miles (90 km) on electric power alone. Its combustion and electric powertrain optimise efficiency on longer journeys by automatically switching between hybrid modes.

With a fully charged battery and a full fuel tank, the vehicle is capable of exceeding 600 miles (1,000 km). The ATTO 2 DM-i will be available in two versions, differing in battery size, EV and overall range, power output, and performance.

Design updates distinguish it from the pure-electric ATTO 2, including a larger central front grille, revised lower front bumper elements, removed side vents on the front wings, and updated tailgate badging. A new exterior colour, Midnight Blue, will be exclusive to the DM-i variant.

The vehicle will make its European debut at Fleet Europe Days in Luxembourg, with a media introduction scheduled for November. Pre-sales will begin shortly thereafter, and first deliveries are expected in the first quarter of 2026.
