Geely has been tinkering with methanol for over a decade, putting prototypes through arctic-level cold tests and showing off the tech at auto shows.

We don’t know exactly how fast it’ll be or how far you can go on electric power alone—but with the Starshine 6 already offering up to 78 miles EV range, it’s flexible enough for city jaunts or weekend escapes.
