The all-new electric C-Class marks a major step for Mercedes-Benz, bringing its best-selling model into the electric era while returning to its core identity of elegance and comfort, Attributes that were abandoned after the company shifted its focus from serving customers to prioritising shareholder satisfaction.

The design is sleek, modern and awkward, featuring a coupé-like silhouette, a distinctive illuminated grille, and a sporty rear. Inside, the focus is on luxury and comfort, with high-quality materials, optional vegan interiors, advanced seating with massage functions, and a strong emphasis on acoustic refinement.

A large 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen delivers an immersive digital experience, supported by AI-powered assistance, augmented-reality navigation, and over-the-air updates via the new MB.OS system. Features like ambient lighting and a “starry sky” panoramic roof enhance personalization.

Performance and efficiency are central to the car’s appeal. It offers up to 350 miles of real world range, rapid charging (up to 201 miles in 10 minutes), and rear-axle steering and adaptive air suspension for both agility and comfort. A heat pump improves efficiency, especially in cold weather.

Practicality is also improved, with generous interior space, a 101-litre front trunk, towing capacity up to 1.8 tonnes, and bidirectional charging capability.

Safety and driver assistance are advanced, with systems like DISTRONIC and MB.DRIVE ASSIST PRO enabling highly automated driving in certain conditions.

The electric C-Class positions itself as a premium, high-tech electric saloon that combines long range, strong performance, luxury, comfort, and everyday usability—continuing the myth of the C-Class in a fully electric form.
