The Mercedes AMG E 63 Final Edition is the last of us. It is the last twin turbo charged V8 from Mercedes. It is the last step to an electric new world order. It should be celebrated, but it will not be missed. The V8 will eventually morph into a V6  or V8 plugin-hybrid, both will eventually be superseded by a pure electric powertrain. The AMG E 63 Final Edition is very much the beginning of the end of a 100-year era.

The super-powered Final Edition will be availble in both saloon and estate guise. Each model will ride on 20-alloy wheels, and the exterior will feature exclusive side skirts adorned with AMG graphics and decals.

The optional Performance package offers plusher seating, heated, upholstered in Nappa leather in two-tone Black AMG / and Grey Pearl with yellow contrast stitching.

The flat-bottom steering wheel is wrapped in Dinamica Microfiber and the surrounding interior is peppered with carbon fiber inserts. Standard equipment will be generous as will the amount of final edition badges.

Power will be supplied by the unchanged 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo that generates 603bhp and 850Nm of torque (612 lb-ft) which is distributed to all 4 wheels with a bit of bias towards the rear wheels.

The Mercedes AMG 63 S Final Edition is the last of us and only 999 units will be made for worldwide distribution. Pricing is yet to be revealed.
