It’s actually called the Aston Martin Valiant, a collaboration between Fernando Alonso and Aston Martin that was destined to happen. ‘Valiant’ aptly describes Fernando Alonso’s Grand Prix Formula One career. But really, it should have been named the Aston Matin Alonso.

While he may not boast the most wins or championships statistically, Alonso is a rarity among his peers because statistics do not define his career. Indeed, as an F1 driver, Alonso belongs among the elites.

The Aston Martin Valiant was originally conceived as a personal commission from Fernando Alonso for a lightweight, more extreme, more downforce, race car-inspired version of the Aston Martin Valour. Following the commission and drawing inspiration from Fernando’s 23-year career in Formula 1, the Valiant was born.

The Valiant is a strictly limited-edition special crafted by Aston Martin’s bespoke division, Q by Aston Martin. It features a 745PS 5.2-liter Twin-Turbo V12 engine paired with a bespoke 6-speed manual transmission and rides on 21-inch alloys forged from magnesium. Stopping power is provided by Carbon Ceramic brakes.

The chassis is tailored with Multimatic ASV dampers and recalibrated electronics to enhance track performance.

Its all-carbon fibre bodywork, designed with aerodynamic features, reduces weight and increases downforce. The stripped-down lightweight interior and specific mechanical parts utilizes magnesium, titanium, and advanced 3D printing for key components, reducing the car’s weight by an estimated 100kg.

Production of the Aston Martin Valiant is strictly limited to 38 units worldwide, with first deliveries scheduled to commence in Q4 2024. As for the price? That hasn’t been disclosed yet.”
