The all-electric Rimac Nevera R is the performance variant of the standard Nevera, which might seem surprising given that the latter already boasts 1,914 horsepower. However, Rimac wasn’t satisfied with just that and developed the Nevera R, which can be likened to an AI-guided hypersonic cruise missile compared to the ‘standard’ Nevera.

How much more power do you really need for everyday driving? It seems more power is never enough. The stats don’t lie: the Nevera R is still powered by four electric motors, producing a staggering 2,107 horsepower. This allows the car to reach 300 km/h in just 8.66 seconds—half a second quicker than the standard model. It also accelerates to 62 mph in just 1.81 seconds.

Despite being 25 kg lighter, the Rimac Nevera R still weighs over 2 tonnes. While the standard Nevera starts at £2,000,000, the Nevera R is priced from £2,300,000. Carwow’s Mat Watson gets an early preview courtesy of Rimac.
